"The Visionaries Behind NGL"
A diverse group of students and professionals committed to building the next generation of leaders.
"I built this NGO to ensure that the flame of knowledge in Afghanistan never goes out. My goal was to create a sanctuary of learning where we don't just provide lessons, but we build leaders who are ready to take responsibility for their nation’s future. What makes our team unique is our Volunteer Spirit. Every mentor and member of NGL is here by choice, giving their time and expertise for free because they believe in this mission."
I am Zahra Muhammadi, currently studying public health at Asian University and working as a manager at Next Generation Leaders. I am passionate about empowering youth and developing future leaders. Through my work and studies, I aim to make a meaningful difference in my community and contribute to a healthier, more informed society.
I joined this organization because I believe that language shouldn't be a luxury reserved for those who can afford it.
My primary motivation for joining this organization is my profound interest in the human psyche and a heartfelt desire to listen—without judgment—to those seeking a better path. I possess a strong ability to understand issues from others' perspectives and believe that with patience and knowledge, we can transform the most difficult mental challenges into opportunities for growth. My goal is to create a safe space for clients where, together, we can take steps toward solving their problems and achieving lasting peace.
"I joined Next-Gen Leaders because I believe that the right story, told in the right way, can change the world. As a Social Content Builder, I see my role not just as 'making content,' but as building a digital bridge for Afghan youth. I chose to volunteer my time with NGL because I believe in our vision: that knowledge is a legacy, and that we have a responsibility to pass it on. I am here to ensure that the resilience, talent, and untapped potential of our students are seen and heard globally. I work for NGL because I don't just want to watch history be made; I want to help our generation build it."

Ever since universities and schools were closed for girls in my country, it has been my dream to help young people find their way through scholarships. Having searched for many opportunities myself and gained valuable experience, I wanted to share this knowledge. I am so happy to join Next Generation Leaders to help others achieve their academic goals and build a brighter future.
"I joined Next-Gen Leaders as an advisor because I care deeply about education and the future of Afghan youth. After my experience teaching at AUW, the situation for girls in Afghanistan became very close to my heart, and I felt a strong responsibility to support Rabia’s mission. I am here to be a resource for this incredible team because I admire their initiative and courage. I believe that even in the most challenging times, education is the most powerful tool we have. I am proud to stand in NGL’s corner and contribute in any way I can—whether through global outreach or mentoring students—to help this generation lead their future."
